The Samsung Galaxy M51 appears to be the perfect mid-range smartphone for people with low-battery anxiety. It boasts a massive 7,000mAh battery and on top of that, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Now it seems that the Galaxy M51 is heading to Malaysia soon as the device has just gotten the SIRIM green light.
The device with the model number SM-M515F was spotted on SIRIM today. If you look at the listing, the device includes NFC, which is probably the first for the Galaxy M series in Malaysia. However, it isn’t clear if this means Samsung Pay would be supported. The M51 is also dual-SIM device and has support for 5GHz 802.11ac WiFi.
As revealed earlier, the Galaxy M51 will feature a 6.7″ Super AMOLED Plus display that comes with a 32MP punch-hole-selfie camera. Under the hood, it runs on a Qualcomm processor which is speculated to be a either Snapdragon 730 or a 730G unit. From the German product page, it comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage which is expandable via microSD card.
The device will also feature a quad-camera array that consists of a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro shooter and a 5MP depth sensor. Powering the device is a 7,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging.
At the time of writing, Samsung has already removed the Galaxy M51 from the German website but the device will be launching in India very soon on the 10th of September.

Samsung India has put up a teaser page for the M51 which highlights a Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O display, a large battery, a high resolution camera and a Snapdragon processor. In Germany, the device was listed for EUR 360 (about RM1,769) but we reckon it will be priced much lower than that for the Asian region.
