Touch ‘n Go has added three more town councils to its list of cashless street parking. Instead of fumbling over tickets and small change, you can now use Touch ‘n Go eWallet to pay for parking at DBKL, Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya, Perbadanan Putrajaya, Majlis Daerah Kuala Langat and Majlis Perbandaran Kota Bharu.
To pay for parking, just launch the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app, tap on “Parking, and then select “Pay For Parking Now”. If it is your first time, you can add your vehicle number and description. Once that’s done, just select your parking location and choose your required duration. For first time users, you will be required to enter a one time pin for verification.
The Touch ‘n Go eWallet app will push a reminder 15 minutes before expiry. If you need to extend your parking, you can do so via the app without going to your car. The parking fee will be deducted from your eWallet balance, so there’s no need to buy bulk tokens upfront.
The Touch ‘n Go eWallet is available on both Apple AppStore and Google Play Store. In case you missed it, Touch ‘n Go is among the three eWallets selected for the eTunai Rakyat initiative. Malaysians aged 18 years old and above, with an annual income of under RM100,000 will receive RM30 from 15th January 2020.
