With just a few days away to launch, Huawei has just released another teaser for its upcoming P30 series. This time it’s about a camera mode that supposedly allows you to “see both sides of the story” simultaneously.
Although the teaser says that you can see both sides, it doesn’t work like Nokia’s Bothie mode. Instead of using front and back cameras, the P30 is a split-screen video recording that uses the rear-mounted telephoto and ultra-wide-angle cameras. From what we’ve seen from Huawei’s website, the feature is called Dual-View video and it will be enabled later through a software update.
If Huawei wants to capture both sides, it makes more sense to record using both the front and back cameras instead. This allows you to capture the moment along with the expression of the person behind the camera. I don’t know about you, but I don’t really see the point of capturing the same view with the telephoto and ultra-wide-angle modes simultaneously. What do you think? Is this a feature that you’ll use? Let us know in the comments below.
