As the new base model for the lineup, the new COM (short for Comfort) variant allows the MGS5 EV CKD to offer a lower starting price. Specifically, the MGS5 EV CKD COM can be obtained for RM103,900, which is RM4,000 lower than its CBU counterpart.

For a limited time, customers can get the MGS5 EV CKD COM for RM100,900 – thanks to the RM3,000 launch rebate. At the same time, they will also be provided with a free AC wallbox charger.

The MGS5 EV CKD COM is available in two colourways, including Silver and Grey. Interestingly enough, the COM variant also comes with blacked-out wheels as opposed to the LUX version, which has silver outlines.

The electric SUV comes standard with a 7-year / 150,000km vehicle warranty alongside an 8-year / 180,000km warranty for its high-voltage battery and an 8-year / 160,000km warranty for its Motor Control Unit (MCU).
