CelcomDigi has updated its 5G prepaid offering for 2026 which replaces the previous NX and UV prepaid plans.
Similar as before, subscribers can choose between high-speed data (Prepaid 5G Hyper) or unlimited (Prepaid 5G Power) offering which starts from RM30/month.
CelcomDigi has also revised the validity of its “unlimited” plans from the shorter period of 28 days to 30 days, which now follows the industry standard.
Celcom Prepaid 5G Hyper and Power
If you want high-speed data without speed caps, there’s the Prepaid 5G Hyper 30 and 35 plans.
The base Prepaid 5G Hyper 30 offers 50GB of 5G/4G data with hotspot usage and unlimited calls for RM30/month.
You can get double the data for RM5 extra with Prepaid 5G Hyper 35. This plan offers 100GB of data with hotspot, and unlimited calls for RM35/month.

If you prefer “unlimited”, there’s the Prepaid 5G Power option. The base Prepaid 5G Power 35 at RM35/month comes offers “unlimited” data with a speed cap of 18Mbps and a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 100GB.
If you want higher speed and more FUP quota, there’s Prepaid 5G Power 45 at RM45/month which offers “unlimited” data at 48Mbps and a higher FUP of 200GB.
Both plans also offer hotspot usage and unlimited calls.
Prepaid 5G Power+ with bundled video streaming

For those who want faster “unlimited” speed and greater value with bundled video streaming content, you might want to consider CelcomDigi’s Prepaid 5G Power+ plans.
The CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G Power+ 55 at RM55/month comes bundled with Viu Premium access and the plan itself offers “unlimited” data at 100Mbps, along with 200GB of FUP.
Meanwhile, CelcomDigi Prepaid 5G Power+ 65 at RM65/month bundles Prime Video and it offers “unlimited” data with uncapped speed with a monthly FUP of 200GB.
As a reference, a standalone Viu Premium subscription typically costs RM21.90/month while Prime Video costs RM25/month.
Two 100GB plans, same price but different speed

Compared to last year’s Prepaid 5G NX and UX plans, CelcomDigi has increased the monthly subscription by RM5 (except for 5G Hyper 35). For Prepaid Hyper 30, the new base plan offers 10GB more data compared to the previous Prepaid 5G NX25.
Meanwhile, both “Unlimited” plans retain the same FUP and speed cap as before, but they now cost RM5 more because of the extra validity from 28 days to 30 days.

What’s weird is that both 5G Hyper 35 and 5G Power 35 plans offer the same amount of data and are priced the same at RM35/month.
The only difference is that Power 35 has a speed cap of 18Mbps while the Hyper 35 option has no speed restriction. Unless you don’t want fast internet, it is pointless to choose the 5G Power 35 plan.
