Realme C85 series Malaysia: IP69K water resistant, 7,000mAh battery, Dimensity 6300, priced from RM749

Realme has officially launched the Realme C85 5G and C85 4G in Malaysia. Previously only available via telcos such as Maxis and UMobile, you can now purchase the smartphone via Realme’s stores, both physical and online. More details after the jump.

Realme C85 series pricing and availability in Malaysia

  • Realme C85 5G (8GB+256GB) – RM799 (after RM300 instant rebate)
  • Realme C85 4G (8GB+256GB) – RM749

The 5G variant of the Realme C85 is originally priced at RM1,099, but it can now be had with a RM300 instant rebate via Realme’s Brand Stores and Authorised Dealers.

Colour options-wise, the 5G variant is available in either Parrot Purple or Peacock Greeb, while the 4G model can be had in Parrot Purple, Kingfisher Blue, or Swan Black.

Realme C85 series Malaysia: Specs and features

Specs-wise, both the 5G and 4G variants of the Realme C85 share pretty much the same specs. This includes a 6.8″ 144Hz IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1570×720 pixels that has a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset under the hood paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

In the imaging department, you get a 50MP f/1.8 camera at the back with a Sony IMX852 sensor, along with an 8MP f/2.0 selfie shooter up front. You also get a 7,000mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C at 45W. The C85 also supports 10W reverse wired charging and bypass charging.

At the software front, the Realme C85 runs on Realme UI 6.0 on Android 15. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G or 5G, depending on the variant you pick, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE support, and NFC.

Last but not least, the Realme C85 is also rated at up to IP69K for water and dust resistance, and is even said to be capable of defending against an array of 36 liquids, such as chlorinated pool water, saltwater splashes, and corrosive household spills.

In fact, the phone earned the title of “Most People Performing a Mobile Phone Water-Resistance Test Simultaneously” in the Guinness World Records, and has also passed the military-grade MIL-STD-810H compliance, allowing it to survive 2-meter drops onto hard surfaces.
