JomCharge x DBKL deploys EV Chargers at Coffee Stain Bangsar

JomCharge x DBKL have turned on another street-level EV charger and the latest deployment is around Jalan Telawi area in Bangsar. Located near banks and F&B outlets, this is a convenient spot to top up your EV while grabbing a coffee and running errands.

As part of its opening promo, JomCharge is offering 50% off for EV charging for a week and you can save more if you’re a JomCharge Elite member.

On top of that, users who charge here can also redeem a free cup of coffee while stocks last.

JomCharge has deployed AC and DC charge points in front of The Coffee Stain in Bangsar which is along Jalan Telawi 3. The DC Charger has two CCS2 nozzles which is rated to deliver up to 45kW.

Meanwhile, the AC charge point is a three-phase 11kW unit.

Although, there are three EV charge points, there are only two charging bays at the location. So only two vehicles can charge at any given time.

Take note that if your EV’s charging port is at the rear, you’ll need to reverse in to charge.

The DC Charge point is priced at RM1.40 per kWh, while the AC charge point is priced at RM1.10 per kWh.

50% off EV charging from 22 to 28 December, free coffee while stocks last

To celebrate the opening of the location, JomCharge is offering 50% off for this EV chargers from today, 22nd December until 28th December 2025. With the discount, the DC charger costs only RM0.70 per kWh, or RM0.63 per kWh if you’re a JomCharge Elite member.

In addition, you can also redeem free black of milk coffee from Coffee Stain. Just show your active charging session on the JomCharge app at the counter to redeem your drink. If you prefer iced coffee, you can top up RM1.

The free coffee promo for charging is limited to the first 50 pax only.

Besides this location, there are more EV chargers coming up in Bangsar. Another upcoming site is in front of Watsons, Jalan Telawi 2.
