Suppose you’ve always wanted to be at the top of the tech game by upgrading to the latest iPhone every year, without having to wait for your device instalment plan to finish. In that case, Maxis may have just granted your wish with the launch of the Maxis Yearly Upgrade Programme.
As its name suggests, the new programme allows you to upgrade to a new iPhone every year at no extra cost, as long as you meet a few simple conditions.
The Yearly Upgrade Programme is available for both new and existing Maxis customers. Here’s how it works for each group:
For new customers
Once your remaining commitment period reaches 12 months or less, you’ll be eligible to upgrade to the next-generation iPhone under this programme.
For existing customers
If you’re already a Maxis user with either the iPhone 15 or iPhone 16 series, and with a remaining commitment period of 12 months or less, you may still be eligible:

Your trade-in device must:
If your phone meets these standards, you can trade it in and walk out with a brand-new iPhone as part of your existing Maxis commitment.
When you reach the eligible period (12 months or less remaining), you may visit a Maxis Store or the Maxis Online Store to get your new iPhone upgrade. You’ll trade in your current iPhone, select your new one, and start a new Zerolution commitment under the same or a higher Postpaid plan.
