Gentari has announced its new Gentari Go 2.0 app which aims to provide an enhanced experience to boost confidence for EV drivers. The new update offers a refreshed UI that’s designed to improve EV charger discovery and users can also enjoy more rewards from every charge.

As part of its introductory offer, Gentari Go users who update the app will be able to enjoy 10% off for their next EV charging session.

According to Gentari, these new enhancements reflect the brand’s commitment to driving greater adoption of green mobility in Malaysia. It added that by strengthening charging accessibility and convenience, Gentari 2.0 delivers meaningful value for consumers, industry partners and the broader ecosystem.

On the home screen, the Gentari Go app now shows the nearest EV chargers along with shortcut filters to display charging locations with DC Fast Chargers, AutoCharge and locations that are eligible to enjoy 50% discount with Gentari’s Power Pass membership.

If you scroll down, it will also highlight destination-based chargers such as shopping malls. It also lists out charging locations ideal for quick top up while on the road, such as chargers located at Petronas stations.

The Gentari Go live map now shows the icons of its roaming partners such as JomCharge, ChargEV, Carput Zap, DC Handal and more. According to Gentari, it has established connections with more than 9,000 charge points across 27 CPOs and 7 eMSPs across Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and India.

For enhanced support and assistance, Gentari has also extended its customer careline operating hours which now runs from 7:00am to midnight, daily.

Gentari Rewards lets you earn points for every charging session (including roaming partners) and you can still redeem vouchers to offset your charging session on Gentari’s network. Similar as before, you can redeem RM10 off with 100 points, RM20 off with 200 points and RM50 off with 500 points.

As a welcome reward to Gentari 2.0, they are giving users 10% off voucher for the next charging session which is applicable to Gentari’s roaming partners. Take note that this 10% off voucher is valid until 23rd November 2025 and there’s no minimum spending.

Besides EV charging, you can now redeem other rewards from Gentari partners on the Gentari Go app.

This includes 50% off at Regal Valet for cleaning and car wash services, and RM10 off voucher for Baskin Robbins, Big Apple Donut & Coffee, Zus Coffee, Juice Works, Krispy Kreme, Tealive, Haagen Dazs and Boost Juice.

In addition, iPhone users can track their EV charging session in real time via the Live activities widget on the lock screen or on the dynamic island.

The Gentari Go app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
