Every Grab user’s existing GrabRewards have already been converted to GrabCoins, so there’s nothing extra you need to do other than just use Grab as usual and watch your coins add up.
With GrabCoins, everyone earns in the same straightforward way. It’s a simple way to see how your everyday actions turn into savings.
Earn GrabCoins every time you ride, order, or shop
There are now even more ways to earn GrabCoins, whether you’re getting lunch delivered, restocking groceries, or heading out for the weekend. Here’s how you can earn:

- Earn 5% back in GrabCoins when you order Grab Signatures on GrabFood.
- Earn 5% back in GrabCoins when you order GrabFood for Breakfast & Teatime.
- Earn 150 GrabCoins when you book a table on Grab Dine Out.
Shop | Pay
- Earn 5% back in GrabCoins when you shop from Health & Beauty stores on GrabMart.
- Earn 200 GrabCoins when you shop online with PayLater by Grab.
- Earn 1.5% back in GrabCoins with each Partner App booking.
- Earn up to 1x GrabCoins at Jaya Grocer store when you pay with GX Card or GrabPay Wallet
Book | Ride
- Earn 5% back in GrabCoins when you book an Advance Booking ride.
- Earn 5% back in GrabCoins when you book Premium or Exec rides.
- Earn up to 5X GrabCoins when you’re a GrabUnlimited member.
Every action, from your morning coffee order to your late-night ride, counts in helping you save more on your next one.
Redeeming your GrabCoins is just as easy. Once you’ve earned enough, simply toggle GrabCoins on at checkout on GrabFood or GrabMart to see your savings in real time.
For reference, 15 GrabCoins ≈ RM0.10 (or roughly RM1 ≈ 150 GrabCoins). It could take as little as one order to earn enough GrabCoins to get a discount on your next purchase.
Note that:
- GrabCoins earned until 31st December 2025 will only expire on 31st July 2026.
- GrabCoins earned from 1st January 2026 onwards will follow a 6-month validity period.
