EV owners will be able to charge their vehicles for only RM1.11 per kWh at selected Shell Recharge High-Performance Charging (HPC) stations on 11 November. The promo is in conjunction with the recent rollout of the Shell Recharge Asia App in Malaysia.

Here is the list of participating Shell Recharge HPC stations:

  • Shell LPT 1 R&R Temerloh Kuantan Bound (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell LPT 2 Perasing R&R (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell LPT 2 R&R Paka KT Bound (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell LPT 2 R&R Paka KL Bound (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell Sungai Besi (60kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell LDP D’Alpinia (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell Bukit Jalil TPM (120kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell NSE Seremban R&R South Bound (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell NSE Seremban R&R KL Bound (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell R&R Skudai JB Bound (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell Tangkak R&R JB Bound (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell Tapah R&R South Bound  (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell RTC Simpang Pulai (180kW – 2 nozzles)
  • Shell NSE Pagoh R&R KL Bound (180kW – 2 nozzles)

Usually, it would cost RM2.20 per kWh to charge at these Shell Recharge HPC stations, except for Shell Sungai Besi, which costs slightly lower at RM1.50 per kWh. So, you are looking at a discount of 26% to 50% during the promo period that will last from 12:00 AM until 11:59 PM on the said day.

Shell Recharge Asia app – now supports Shell Recharge chargers in Malaysia.

It is quite rare to see Shell Malaysia offering discounts for Shell Recharge HPC locations, which have a reputation as one of the most expensive EV charging networks in Malaysia. This is unless you bought a Porsche Taycan from Porsche Malaysia which allows you to charge your EV at these HPC stations for only 80 sen per kWh for 3 years, thanks to the Shell Recharge Platinum membership that comes with your Taycan.
