Realme 15T launches in Malaysia with songket-inspired design, 50MP cameras, 7,000mAh battery

Realme has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Realme 15T, here in Malaysia. It features a songket-inspired design, 50MP cameras, and a huge 7,000mAh battery that supports 60W fast charging. More info after the jump.

Realme 15T in Malaysia: Pricing and availability

Available in either Suit Titanium or Flowing Silver, the Realme 15T is offered in two configurations:

  • Realme 15T (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) – RM1,199
  • Realme 15T (12GB RAM + 256GB storage) – RM1,299

Yes, you read that right. Both options come with the same amount of storage, with the RAM being the only differentiation factor. By the way, you can purchase the Realme 15T via Realme Brand Stores nationwide, via telcos such as Maxis, U Mobile, and RedOne, or via Realme Malaysia’s official e-commerce stores:

According to Realme’s marketing materials, the Realme 15T has been designed with the rPhone Aesthetic. This includes a design inspired by songket silk and Malay cinema reels. The smartphone also features a nano-etched matte black panel, which Realme says is resistant to fingerprints and smudges.

Measuring 7.79mm in thickness and 181g in weight, the Realme 15T is rated up to IP69 for dust and water resistance.

At the front of the Realme 15T is a 6.57″ 120Hz AMOLED display that pushes out a resolution of 2372×1080 pixels as well as a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 Max 5G chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Imaging-wise, you get a 50MP f/1.8 rear camera at the back, along with a 2MP f/2.4 black and white “portrait camera”. Handling selfies is a 50MP f/2.4 shooter. Both the rear and front 50MP sensors are capable of filming videos at up to 1080p at 60fps. In addition, the 15T also gets the AI Edit Genie voice-controlled image editing feature, which debuted on the Realme 15 series.

The Realme 15T comes with a 7,000mAh battery and supports 60W fast wired charging via USB-C. In fact, the phone comes out of the box with an 80W charging adapter, a USB-C cable, and a phone case.

On the connectivity side of things, you get 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC. And for its software, the Realme 15T runs on Realme UI 6, which is based on Android 15.
