Grab Partner Apps now in Malaysia: Offers third-party services directly inside Grab app

Grab today rolls out Partner Apps to users in Malaysia and Singapore. The new feature allows users to obtain products, services, and even content from third-party partners directly inside the Grab app.

In many ways, you can think of Grab’s new Partner Apps as an app within an app – just that no download is needed. Users also don’t have to sign up for individual accounts or go through an additional verification process for these third-party services because these will be sorted out through the integration with Grab’s database.

The integration also allows users to obtain GrabRewards Points whenever they perform transactions inside the Partner Apps. There are currently five Partner Apps providers, including redBus, Firsty, HelloRide, Drive lah, and Jolibox, although their availability differs from market to market.

Which Grab Partner Apps are available in Malaysia?

Out of the five initial Grab Partner Apps, only JoliBox is readily available for Grab Malaysia users. That being said, JoliBox separated its offerings into two different apps.

The purpose of each app is rather self-explanatory through their names, as Jolibox is meant for video content, while JoliBox Game provides access to casual games. To access them, tap on the “More” shortcut at the Home screen, and you shall see the Our Partner Apps section at the bottom of the screen just underneath the main Grab Services shortcuts.

Meanwhile, customers can expect more Partner Apps to go online in the coming months from local and international brands. Grab is already planning to introduce this feature in other markets as well.
