Dyson introduced a new line of products at IFA 2025 in Berlin, and now, two of those products — the Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones and V16 Piston Animal have finally made their way to Malaysia with the brand’s latest and greatest tech.

Dyson PencilVac: An ultra-thin, nimble vacuum that stays tangle-free
First unveiled in May 2025, the Dyson PencilVac is the company’s slimmest vacuum to date, measuring just 38mm in diameter, making it about the same width as Dyson’s latest hair dryers and about the size of a 2 Euro coin. Despite its slender profile, it’s powered by the new Hyperdymium 140k motor, which spins at up to 140,000 rpm.
At the core of its cleaner head are Dyson’s Fluffycones — four soft brush-bar cones that automatically detangle hair and threads. The cones gather strands into a ball, eject them, and allow the vacuum to re-suction them without clogging the machine.
Unlike most vacuums, the PencilVac’s dual drive motors sit in the centre of its conical brush bars, freeing the brushes to spin right to the very edges. This design enables thorough edge-to-edge cleaning while also making it exceptionally easy for the vacuum to swivel around tight spaces and furniture.
The PencilVac also debuts a linear dust separation system that compresses debris, letting its 0.08L bin hold up to five times more than expected. A syringe-style ejector makes emptying simple — just push to release dirt while simultaneously wiping the shroud clean.
Other features include twin green laser lights to highlight dust and debris, plus connectivity with the MyDyson app, which offers live performance tracking, battery status, maintenance alerts, and personalised cleaning tips.
Dyson V16 Piston Animal: Deep cleaning power with vacuum and mop in one
Unveiled as part of Dyson’s latest lineup, the V16 Piston Animal is built to handle every floor type, combining powerful suction with floor washing in a single device. At its core is Dyson’s most power-dense motor yet — the 900W Hyperdymium, delivering 315 air watts for uncompromising performance.
The All Floor Cones Sense cleaner head automatically adapts suction and brush bar speed to match the surface, while anti-tangle conical brush bars continuously remove and eject hair straight into the bin.
Attach the upgraded Submarine 2.0 wet roller head to tackle spills and stains on hard floors, with adaptive suction technology ensuring smooth transitions across different surfaces.
For convenience, the V16 Piston Animal includes a hot-swappable battery for longer runtimes, a Remote Release system that lets you switch cleaner heads without bending, and the CleanCompaktor bin, which compresses debris to hold up to 30 days of dust.
