XPeng Malaysia has confirmed, via a social media post, that the facelifted 2025 XPeng G6 will make its way here on 1 October 2025.

XPeng G6 facelift Malaysia – What to expect

The XPeng G6 facelift has already gone on sale in Thailand and Indonesia, where it features a revised variant line-up. The entry-level Long Range replaces the previous Standard Range, joined by a new Performance AWD variant. Both are powered by an 80.8 kWh LFP battery with DC fast charging at up to 451 kW, enabling a 10–80% charge in just 12 minutes. AC charging is capped at 11 kW, which takes about 9.2 hours for a full charge. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) is also supported.

Range figures in Thailand are quoted at 525 km (WLTP) for the Long Range and 510 km for the Performance AWD.

The Long Range comes with a rear-mounted motor producing 292 hp and 440 Nm, good for 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 202 km/h. The Performance AWD adds a front motor for a combined 480 hp and 660 Nm, slashing the century sprint to 4.1 seconds.

What’s new?

Exterior updates include a new front light bar, repositioned XPeng logo on the bonnet, new 20-inch alloys, ducktail spoiler, and blacked-out trim (exclusive to the Performance AWD). Inside, the facelift brings a darker colour scheme, more premium touches like Nappa leather upholstery, suede headliner, and massaging 10-way adjustable front seats.

The digital instrument cluster is now 10.25 inches, while the central infotainment screen grows to 15.6 inches. Other kit includes wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual 50W wireless chargers, a panoramic roof, 18-speaker sound system, and dual-zone climate control with PM2.5 filtering.

On the safety side, the G6 facelift continues with Nvidia Orin-X powered ADAS, supported by 5 radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors and 13 cameras. Features include adaptive cruise control, active lane change, lane centering, parking assist, AEB, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert and more.

The current XPeng G6 is priced in Malaysia at:

XPeng G6 580 Pro – RM165,820

We’ll have to wait until launch to see if the facelift introduces a new line-up or pricing structure here in Malaysia. For now, registration of interest is open on XPeng Malaysia’s official website.
