Apple has announced that the new iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro will be released in Malaysia on Friday, 19 September – just like in the United States. Both models were revealed at the company’s Awe Dropping special event that took place earlier today, alongside iPhone Air, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and AirPods Pro 3.

iPhone 17 Malaysia Pricing, Colourway
Since there is no “Plus” model this time around, after it was taken over by the new iPhone Air, this means there is only one screen size for iPhone 17. In fact, the iPhone 17 is equipped with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display as opposed to the 6.1-inch screen on the outgoing iPhone 16.
In addition to that, the storage option for iPhone 17 starts at 256GB instead of 128GB as per its predecessor. Despite that, Apple has kept the price for iPhone 17 in Malaysia under RM5,000:
- iPhone 17 256GB: RM3,999
- iPhone 17 512GB: RM4,999
There are five colourways available for the iPhone 17, including Lavender, Sage, Misty Blue, White, and Black. For peace of mind, you can obtain AppleCare+ coverage for the iPhone 17, which costs RM749 regardless of the storage option.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 Pro series continues to be available in two screen sizes just like its predecessor. As you may already know, the iPhone 17 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch screen while the iPhone 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display.
