TNB Electron has just turned on a new DC charger along the North South Expressway (PLUS). The new EV charging location is at Machap R&R Southbound, which is just after the Ayer Hitam exit.

As usual for new TNB Electron charger deployments, they are offering free charging for a limited time.

For this location, TNB Electron has deployed a 180kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles. These chargers are priced at RM1.50 per kWh. To activate this charger at Machap R&R, you’ll need to use the Go To-U app, which requires users to reload first.

For a limited time, EV drivers can charge their EVs at this location for free starting today, 12:00pm until Saturday 23rd August at 11:59pm.

Based on the photos shared on Plugshare, the location is covered, similar to its other DC Charging locations along interstate highways.

In case you missed it, TNB Electron has recently turned on its 90kW DC Charger at the UNITEN Mosque. This location comes with a JuiceUP contactless card terminal and they also offered free charging until yesterday.
