Following our earlier report, Neta Auto Malaysia has issued a statement clarifying its position in Malaysia.

Closure of Glenmarie facility

According to Intro Synergy, the distributor of Neta in Malaysia, the closure of its Glenmarie facility was part of a planned restructuring exercise announced in June 2025. The move, they said, was to streamline operations in line with global directions from Neta’s principal, Hozon Auto.

Neta stressed that the shutdown does not signal its exit from Malaysia, nor does it affect warranty coverage, after-sales, or spare parts availability.

Relocation of service centre

The service centre has since been relocated to Accentra Glenmarie, just a few kilometres from the old site. Intro Synergy acknowledged that communication around the relocation was unclear and apologised for the confusion. The company says the facility is open and serving customers, with improved notification channels now in place.

As for the Careplus Mall address listed on Neta Malaysia’s website, the company clarified that it represents its corporate and logistics hub under Careplus Group’s strategic investment. Careplus, which holds shares in Intro Synergy and NexV Manufacturing, plays a role in distribution, warehousing, spare parts management, and upcoming EV assembly plans in Negeri Sembilan.

After-sales and future plans

Neta reiterated that:

  • Warranty coverage remains valid and honoured.
  • Spare parts availability is secure, with hubs in Klang Valley and Seremban.
  • Service centres are operating, with expansion planned.
  • Customer hotlines and digital platforms remain open.

The distributor also highlighted its Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) strategy to ensure better engagement and cost efficiency, adding that any updates or further developments will be communicated to customers.

Neta Auto Malaysia emphasised that it remains “alive, operational, and committed” to its customers, assuring that vehicles will be supported “today, tomorrow, and for years to come.”
