In 2020, Apple introduced the iPhone 12 lineup with MagSafe, a magnetic wireless charging system that made wireless charging faster, easier, and more reliable. Now, Google has unveiled its own take with Pixelsnap, built on the new Qi2 wireless charging standard.
The Google Pixel 10 series not only includes magnets on the back, but also arrives alongside Google’s lineup of Pixelsnap chargers, stands, and cases designed for them.
The Pixelsnap Charger is a fast Qi2 wireless charger that can charge the Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro Fold at 15W, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL at 25W. It also works with other Qi2-certified devices.
Want a more aesthetically pleasing wireless charger that can blend with your setup better? There’s the Pixelsnap Charger with Stand, which you can charge the Pixel 10 devices in either landscape or portrait orientations, and even the Pixel 10 Pro Fold when both folded and unfolded.
The Pixelsnap Ring Stand, on the other hand, lets you place your Pixel 10 device on, let’s say, your coffee table and watch movies or make video calls. Google says its super soft inner microfiber helps with rotation for the right viewing angle. You can also pop it off or close it when on the go.
For those curious about colour options, PixelSnap cases are available in matching finishes to complement the device colour you choose.
Although not a PixelSnap accessory, Google also introduced the Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W USB-C Fast Charger. Marketed as the fastest dual-port charger for Pixel phones, it intelligently prioritises power delivery to ensure Pixels charge at top speed while still supplying power to a second device.
