You can now get a Neta X 500 Luxury for as low as RM105,000. This particular variant is the electric SUV’s highest-end trim that you can get when it was launched in Malaysia just over a year ago.

At that time, the Neta X 500 Luxury came with a price tag of RM135,888. Hence, you are looking at a discount of almost RM31,000.

Neta X Malaysia Promo - Aug 2025
August 2025’s Neta X promotional poster that was published on Neta Auto Malaysia’s Facebook page.

According to Neta Auto Malaysia, which announced the discounted price on its Facebook page, customers will also be provided with a free AC charger. At the same time, the EV is also covered by an 8-year warranty, although the post did not specify what exactly the warranty will cover.

Furthermore, the Neta X’s policy has changed several times depending on when or where the information comes from. At launch, the electric SUV was provided with a 5-year / 150,000km vehicle warranty while its high-voltage battery and electric motor components were given an 8-year / 180,000km warranty.

Neta X Malaysia Warranty - August 2025
The warranty policies that were listed on the Neta X brochure, downloaded from Neta Malaysia’s website on 6 August 2025.

Now, if you download the PDF brochure on Neta Malaysia’s website, the policies listed in it state there is an 8-year / 180,000km electric motor warranty, 5-year / 150,000km general part warranty, and 10-year / 200,000km body warranty.

Unlike Neta V’s recent offering which clearly stated that the cars on sale were “low-mileage” units, the post for Neta X has no mention of that. However, Neta Auto Malaysia did say in a reply to one of the Facebook comments that the Neta X mentioned in the poster are “new car – year 2024” which indicates that these unit are new but came from 2024 stocks.

How about for the lower-end Neta X variants, such as the 400 Luxury and 400 Comfort? While the Facebook announcement did not mention either versions, they are also available with massive discounts according to the information that we received from Uncle Sky of SoyaCincau.com EV User Group.

Based on the details that Uncle Sky received from a Neta dealership, the Neta X 400 Luxury is available for RM100,000, while the Neta X 400 Comfort can be obtained for as low as RM90,000.

As a comparison, the launch of Neta X 400 Luxury was RM127,888, while the Neta X Comfort was made available for RM119,888. The dealership did not provide further details regarding the discounted Neta X, but we believe these units are likely from the same 2024 stocks as per the Neta X 500 Luxury mentioned earlier.

While the offer for Neta X across all variants seems rather interesting, some may feel less confident about purchasing an EV from a brand that is going through restructuring. Mind you, it is not just Neta’s manufacturer in China, Hozon Auto, that is going through the process, but also the local distributor, Intro Synergy.
