Gentari is on a roll in the past week. After turning on three EV charging sites in Indera Mahkota, Subang Airport and Bentong R&R, the Charge Point Operator (CPO) has just enabled its latest EV charging location at a Mini Dealership in Ipoh.

Most importantly, these are currently the most powerful public DC Chargers in Ipoh, capable of pushing up to 180kW.

For this location at Tiang Siang Premium Auto, Gentari has deployed not one but two 180kW DC Chargers with two CCS2 nozzles each. That’s a total of four DC fast charging bays which are located outdoors and accessible to the public.

These DC chargers are priced at RM1.70 per kWh. If you have a Gentari Go Power Pass membership, these chargers will cost you RM0.85 per kWh.

Along the same street on Jalan Kuala Kangsar, there are four other DC charging locations deployed at other car dealerships. Here’s the list of other nearby DC chargers and their pricing:

  • ChargEV 60kW – BMW Tian Siang Premium Auto Ipoh: RM1.40 per minute
  • ChargEV 60kW – Lexus Ipoh: RM1.40 per kWh
  • Charge+ 120kW – Proton DK Motor 4S: RM1.35 per kWh
  • JomCharge 60kW – Smart Ipoh – RM1.40 per kWh
