Gentari has deployed a new EV charging site in Kuantan which offers a total of four charging bays. With a DC charging output of up to 120kW, it’s also the most powerful EV charging location around Bandar Indera Mahkota.

Before this location, ChargEV’s 60kW DC Charger at Starbucks Indera Mahkota DT was the only public DC charger in the area.

The new Gentari EV charger is located at Burger King Indera Mahkota and they have deployed two 120kW DC chargers with two CCS2 nozzles each. The charging bays are placed right in front of Burger King and Bank Muamalat, and the location is opposite the Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre @ IIUM and Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque.

These chargers are priced at RM1.60 per kWh and you can activate and pay for the charging session via Gentari Go and JomCharge apps. If you have a Gentari Go Power Pass and Power Pass Lite membership, you can get 50% off for these chargers.

In case you missed it, DC Handal has recently deployed a 120kW DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles and two 11kW AC charge points at Kuantan City Mall. Another four bay EV charging location is Tesla’s SuperCharger at Majlis Bandaraya Kuantan, but this charging location is exclusive to Tesla vehicles only.
