ChargEV and DC Handal are having a special promo offer at the BYD Atto 2 launch venue. It isn’t a new membership plan which we were expecting earlier, but a credit bundle offer where you can save more from your future EV charging sessions.
The promotion is only available at the BYD Atto 2 public launch event which is happening from 25th to 27th July 2025 at Heritage Valley in Kuala Lumpur.
Essentially, ChargEV and DC Handal are offering RM500 in EV charging credits for only RM350. That’s a savings of RM150, equivalent to 30% off. If you’re currently spending over RM80 per month on these charging networks, it is a no brainer.
This credit bundle is applied as a voucher code to the ChargEV app, and you can use it for all ChargEV and DC Handal chargers throughout Malaysia. It is not applicable for roaming chargers under different EV charging networks.
Take note that the RM500 credit is valid for 6 months from the date of activation.
We’ve been told that there are only 100 vouchers available, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to take up the offer.
At the moment, ChargEV and DC Handal cumulatively offer more than 570 charge points which consists of 360 DC Charge points and 217 AC charge points. The price of chargers varies from as low as RM0.80 per kWh for AC, while several DC charging sites are priced from as low as RM1.00 per kWh.
ChargEV and DC Handal are still deploying new EV charging sites throughout the country. On WCE, some of the upcoming locations include Sungai Nyior RSA (Northbound and Southbound) and Bukit Kapar RSA (Northbound).
Along PLUS highway, ChargEV is also working with PLUS to develop integrated retail and EV charging hubs. The first location is located at Seremban Southbound and it is expected to be ready by 2027.
