Aside from the Nothing Phone (3), the British-based company has also unveiled its first-ever over-ear headphones, the Nothing Headphone (1). These headphones pack premium features such as ANC, LDAC, and are also co-tuned by the audio company KEF. Also, its price is rather competitive, at least in the global market. Nothing Headphone (1) packs aluminium build, ANC, LDAC, and KEF-tuned audio
Despite being the company’s first-ever over-ear headphones, the Nothing Headphone (1) are rather neatly designed. Sporting Nothing’s design NDA, the Headphone (1) features a transparent look with a unique cassette-inspired design.
Made out of aluminium and polycarbonate and weighing 329g, the Nothing Headphone (1) can be had in either Black or White. For controls, there are a total of three hardware input methods — Roller, Paddle, and Button.
The Roller allows you to control your media playback as well as ANC settings. For instance, you can roll right or left to volume up or down your media, press it to play or pause, while pressing and holding the Roller will switch between ANC and Transparency Mode.
As for the Paddle, you can push it to the right to skip to the next track or answer a call, push it to the left to go to the previous track or reject a call, hold it towards the right to fast forward the track and hold it towards the left to rewind the track.
Last but not least is the Button, which is essentially a shortcut key for you to channel hop between apps when paired with a Nothing Phone (3). For example, with a press of the Button, you can hop from Spotify to YouTube. It can also be used to trigger AI services like ChatGPT and Essential Space when paired with Android or iOS devices.
Now, let’s talk about the most important part of the Nothing Headphone (1), its sound. Co-tuned by the audio company KEF, Nothing has fitted the Headphone (1) with a custom 40mm driver. The Headphone (1) supports AAC, SBC, and LDAC audio codecs, enabled via its Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Just in case you prefer to listen to your music using an audio cable, the Nothing Headphone (1) also comes equipped with USB-C lossless and 3.5mm audio ports.
As expected, the Headphone (1) can be paired with the Nothing X App, which offers features such as an advanced 8-band EQ, dual connection, and low-latency mode. Fitted with a 1,040mAh battery, the Nothing Headphone (1) is said to last up to 80 hours of playback with ANC off, and 35 hours with ANC on.

Available for pre-order in global markets starting 4th July, the Nothing Headphone (1) is priced at USD 299 (~RM1,261), which is pretty competitive when compared to top-of-the-line over-ear headphones from Sony and Apple.
No pricing or availability details have been announced for Malaysia just yet, but we sure do hope the Nothing Headphone (1) will be priced even more competitively for our market.
