Acer is now taking on the Samsung Galaxy Ring with its very own FreeSense Ring. Unveiled at Computex 2025, the Acer FreeSense Ring is a titanium smart ring that combines 24/7 biometric tracking with AI-powered wellness insights. Similar to Samsung’s wearable, there’s no additional subscription fee required.

Designed for everyday wear, the FreeSense Ring is made from ultra-lightweight titanium alloy. It is offered in two styles: Rose Gold with matte finish and Black with gloss finish.

It weighs just 2–3 grams and it comes in seven sizes (Size 7 to 13). For better durability in any situation, it also has IP68 and 5ATM-rated water resistance.

The FreeSense Ring tracks key health metrics including heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen (SpO2), and sleep quality. Through its companion app, users can get personalised wellness feedback, including sleep stage analysis and continuous tracking to help encourage a proactive health management and lifestyle awareness.

Users can get full access to all health data tracked by the ring without additional subscription fees.

This puts the Acer FreeSense Ring in direct comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Ring, which has been launched in Malaysia for RM2,099. At the moment, Acer has yet to provide any pricing or availability details for the FreeSense Ring.
