Denza Malaysia recently announced the official launch of four new dealerships in Klang Valley and Melaka. The luxury-oriented sub-brand of BYD previously only had only one dealership in Malaysia, despite Denza D9 having a massive success with over 800 orders received within just one week of its Malaysian launch.
Here are the locations of the new dealerships:
- Denza KL North by Millennium Autobeyond, Kuala Lumpur
- Denza Old Klang Road by Sime Motors, Kuala Lumpur
- Denza Balakong by Win Hin Elegant, Selangor
- Denza Melaka by SKK Motors
Quick tour of Denza KL North
According to BYD Malaysia, this is the first time in BYD Malaysia’s history that multiple dealerships were launched simultaneously in one launch event which was hosted by Denza KL North. While there surely are some differences between each Denza dealership in Malaysia, we got a good idea of the standards that a Denza dealership has to meet after having a casual tour around Denza KL North.
Speaking with Bryan Wong, the Group Managing Director of Millennium Autobeyond, he said that the main showroom floor has enough space to display 6 vehicles at a time. Hence, the space is not just for Denza D9 but also in anticipation of future Denza models too.
Bryan also pointed out that the customer lounge area has been designed to deliver maximum comfort to visitors. It features plenty of amenities, including a beverage area with a barista on duty as well as a surau.
There are also two fully decked VIP rooms with premium sofa, large-screen TV, and Devialet sound system. There is also a dedicated area for the Denza Life showcase and Denza merchandise.
Both the vehicle display area and customer lounge are located on the upper floor of Denza KL North, while the Denza Service area is located on the ground floor. The dealership has five service bays that are exclusive for Denza vehicles, even though the dealerships share the same general building with BYD KL North.
Furthermore, Bryan said both brands have their own dedicated service personnel. In other words, you will not see BYD KL North’s service crew work on a Denza vehicle and vice versa, while the building has a separate service area dedicated to BYD vehicles.
On a related note, the Trapo KL North hub is also located in the same building with dedicated detailing bays. So, customers not only can get Trapo car accessories such as car mats, phone holders, replacement wipers, and dashcam at the hub but also engage the brand to implement coating, tinting, and Paint Protection Film (PPF) on their new Denza right there.
Meanwhile, Bryan has also highlighted the facility’s main delivery room. It is rather massive, and Bryan pointed out that customers can actually request to host a “delivery party” in the room for up to 1.5 hours.
Last but not least, the Denza KL North compound also has two Autel DC chargers which can deliver a maximum DC charging speed of 160kW and 120kW. Bryan said that both chargers will be made available to not only Denza KL North customers but also other EV owners in the near future as well.
New Denza dealership in Glenmarie and Skudai coming soon
Of course, Denza is still not done yet with its expansion in Malaysia. The Managing Director of BYD Malaysia, Eagle Zhao has revealed during the launch event that Denza Glenmarie, which is under Sisma Auto, will be launched in May.
Not to forget, Denza Skudai by Harmony Auto in Johor will also be opening its doors soon. As for new models for Malaysia, Eagle said he can’t reveal anything at the moment but has assured us that there will be more to come from Denza.
