Go To-U has turned on two new DC charging locations in Kuala Terengganu located at Dataran ShahBandar and Pantai Batu Burok. With a maximum output of 120kW, these are currently the most powerful DC Chargers in Kuala Terengganu.
The new EV fast chargers should provide greater convenience to EV drivers heading to Terengganu’s capital following the recent closure of ChargeSini’s charging hub at Mayang Mall. Both chargers have been turned on and are open to the public since 9:00am this morning.
120kW Go To-U DC Charger at Dataran ShahBandar
The 120kW DC Charger at Dataran ShahBandar Kuala Terengganu is located near Econsave, along Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin. The covered EV charger has two bays and it is right next to the Surau.
According to the Go To-U app, this charging location will be closed from 4:00pm onward on Thursdays and Fridays due to the Pasar Malam in the area.
120kW Go To-U DC Charger at Pantai Batu Burok
If you’re heading to Pantai Batu Burok beach, there’s now a DC fast charger as well. Go To-U has also deployed a similar 120kW DC Fast Charger with two covered charging bays around the F&B outlets at Pantai Batu Burok.
The two new Go To-U chargers at Terengganu are priced at RM1.40 per kWh, which the same price as the recently upgraded RekaScape EV Charging Hub in Cyberjaya. The charger can deliver up to 120kW when only one EV is plugged in and it will split to 60kW when both CCS2 nozzles are in use.
These chargers can only be activated via the Go To-U app (Apple App Store, Google Play Store) and you can even book the charger up to 7 days in advance before you arrive at the location.
