Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G now official in Malaysia – Priced at RM899, 6.78″ Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen, 50MP Sony camera

The Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G has finally made its official launch in Malaysia, after making its global debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 together with the rest of the Camon 40 series of devices earlier this month.

Also confirmed to be coming into Malaysia is the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 5G, but its launch will be taking place at a later date.

Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G Malaysia: Price, availability, and promo

Retailed at RM899, the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G is available in two shades – Galaxy Black and Emerald Lake Green, and as mentioned above, its currently sold exclusively on Tecno Malaysia’s TikTok Shop.

You can also claim one of the store vouchers to get a RM50 discount, reducing the phone’s price to RM849. Additionally, you’re also entitled to receive a complimentary 10,000mAh Remax power bank if you purchase the Camon 40 Pro 4G between today and the 23rd of March 2025, while stocks last.

Tecno Camon Pro 4G Malaysia: Specs and features

In terms of specs, the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G packs a 6.78″ Full HD+ AMOLED display that pushes out a resolution of 2436 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Powering the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G is a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor, which is mated to 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. The latter can be expanded to 16GB of RAM when more performance is needed.

Camera-wise, the Camon 40 Pro 4G offers a 50MP f/1.9 main camera with a 1/1.56″ Sony LYT-700C sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, along with a 50MP f/2.5 selfie shooter up front.

As for battery, you get a 5,200mAh cell which can be charged at 45W via USB-C. On the software side of things, the Tecno Camon 40 Pro 4G runs on the smartphone maker’s HiOS 15 skin, built atop Android 15. Rated for IP68/69, the device is dust- and water-resistant.
