Are you an Astro subscriber who’s craving a larger variety of blockbuster movies and TV series to watch? You’ll be glad to know that Max, Warner Bros. Discovery’s premier streaming service, is now available on Astro’s Ultra and Ulti connected boxes.
At launch, the Max app, in the form of its Standard plan, is available for all Astro Movies Pack, Astro One Epic Pack subscribers, as well as those who add-on the Max app. Alternatively, these customers can upgrade to the Max Ultimate plan by paying an additional fee of RM18/month.

If you’re not subscribed to the above mentioned plans, you can add on HBO channels with the Max Standard plan or Max Ultimate plan at RM33.90/month or RM51.90/month respectively.
Max offers contents such as Blockbuster movies and TV series from brands like HBO, Harry Potter, the DC Universe, Discovery, AFN, Cartoon Network, and HGTV. This includes titles such as Dune: Prophecy, The Penguin, The Big Bang Theory, Friends, the full Harry Potter movie collection, Deadliest Catch, Adventure Time and so on. Subscribers can also enjoy new premieres on Max such as The White Lotus season three, Suits LA, and The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.
How to access the Max app on your Ultra/Ulti Box?
To access the Max app on your Astro Ultra and Ulti Box, simply press the “Home” key on the Astro remote control and select the app under the “Apps” rail. Then, follow the steps on screen to pair your Max account with your Astro box by scanning the QR code and logging in to your Max account.
