Shell Malaysia will be offering credit rebates at Shell Recharge High-Performance Charging (HPC) locations on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia from 24 March to 4 April 2025. The new promotion will largely benefit EV owners who are heading to the East Coast this coming Raya season.
The credit rebates can be obtained at these Shell Recharge HPC locations:
- Shell LPT 1 R&R Temerloh Kuantan Bound
- Shell LPT 2 R&R Paka KT Bound
- Shell LPT 2 R&R Paka KL Bound
- Shell LPT 2 Perasing R&R
Accessible through the ParkEasy app, the charging fee for these locations is currently listed as RM2.20 per kWh.
There is also a booking fee of RM5 although this fee would be waived if customers claim their EV charging bay within 10 minutes of their booking. Shell Recharge has also implemented an idle fee of RM8 per 15 minutes but it will only kick in after a grace period of 15 minutes.
Under the new promotion, Shell Recharge Platinum members will receive a 100% rebate. For those who are not familiar with Shell Recharge membership tiers, the Platinum plan is only available to Porsche Taycan and Macan owners who purchased their units from Porsche Malaysia.
On the other hand, Shell Recharge Gold members and normal customers will get a 50% rebate. The rebate will be credited to customers within 7 days after the promo concludes in early April.
Shell Recharge Malaysia will continue to grow in 2025
By definition, Shell Recharge HPC locations are equipped with DC chargers that are capable of providing charging speeds of 180kW and above. Alongside the East Coast mentioned earlier, there are currently 8 other locations in Malaysia at the moment:

- Shell Tangkak R&R JB Bound
- Shell NSE Pagoh R&R KL Bound
- Shell NSE Seremban R&R North Bound
- Shell NSE Seremban R&R South Bound
- Shell RTC, Simpang Pulai
- Shell Tapah R&R South Bound
- Shell LDP D’Alpinia
Shell Recharge HPC network in Malaysia will soon grow to 13 locations as the 180kW DC Charger at Shell LPT 1 R&R Temerloh KL Bound will be operational very soon. It is a long time coming for this particular location as the charger has been spotted by EV owners since the middle of last year.

While Seow did not reveal the 2025 development plan for the Shell Recharge network in Malaysia, she has hinted that Shell Recharge will continue to expand as the year progresses. The expansion will cover both HPC and non-HPC chargers.
