Oppo Watch X2: Premium Wear OS smartwatch with 5-day battery life, priced from RM1,399

Besides the super slim Find N5, Oppo has also launched the Oppo Watch X2 globally. Succeeding the Watch X, this is their latest flagship smartwatch which uses premium materials and it now boasts the longest battery life in any Wear OS watch.

Oppo is also wants to put more emphasis on health and fitness monitoring on your wrist with its new 60 second health check-in feature.

Oppo Watch X2 Malaysia Pricing

The Oppo Watch X2 is officially priced at RM1,399 at for Lava Black and RM1,499 for Summit Blue. The smartwatch is now available for pre-order and it is set to launch in Malaysia on 28th February 2025.

If you’re interested, you can pre-order the wearable across all Oppo Brand Stores, My Oppo Space, Oppo authorised dealers and official Oppo stores on Lazada and Shopee. Pre-order customers can enjoy RM100 rebate and free additional Watch X Strap worth RM129.

For those who pre-order the Oppo Find N5, they can enjoy the RM200 off PWP offer for the Watch X2.

Oppo Watch X2 Specs and Features

The Oppo Watch X2 is offered in a single 46mm size which features a circular 1.5″ LTPO (466×466) display. The screen boasts a peak brightness of up to 2200 nits and it also supports Always-on display.

It has a premium design with titanium alloy bezels, sapphire crystal glass and a stainless steel frame. Similar to its predecessor, the new smartwatch still retains a rotating crown that’s used to scroll through content or adjust your music volume.

For greater durability, the Watch X2 has been certified for IP68 and 5ATM water resistance as well as MIL-STD-810H.

The Oppo Watch X2 offers a comprehensive health and fitness features powered by its Oppo Sense algorithm. The smartwatch has an 8-channel optical heart rate sensor which include advanced PPG heart rate module, paired with a 16-channel optical pulse oximeter sensor and a wrist temperature sensor.

For a quick check up on your well-being, the new watch has a 60s Health Check where it can track your vital health information including vascular health in just a minute. It also offers 24/7 heart rate tracking and sleep monitoring which could help detect potential health issues early.

The Oppo Watch X2 is able to track over 100 workout types and it also offer professional metric tracking in 11 modes.

The Oppo Watch X2 is powered by a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip paired with a BES2800BP chip for optimal balance of high performance and low power consumption. With Oppo’s 648mAh Silicon-carbon battery, the Watch X2 boasts 5 days of battery life which is significantly longer than other Wear OS based smartwatch in the market.

For heavy use with Always-on Display enabled, the Watch X2 is rated to last for up to 3 days. Alternatively, you can stretch it all the way up to 16 days in power saver mode. The smartwatch also has Watch VOOC Flash Charge which is claimed to provide one day of usage with a quick 10-minute charge.

In terms of connectivity, it supports 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and Dual Band GPS L1 + L5 which include Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS and QZSS. The Oppo Watch X2 runs on ColorOS Watch 7.0 based on Wear OS 5.0.
