Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ 2025 in Malaysia, priced at RM4,999 – 13.2″ PaperMatte OLED display, 10100mAh battery, pre-order now open

Aside from the Mate XT, Huawei has also launched its latest flagship tablet, the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ 2025, here in Malaysia. The tablet is available for pre-order and early birds will be entitled to free gifts.

Priced at RM4,999, you can drop your pre-order for the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ between now and the 14th of March 2025, and receive free gifts worth up to RM2,744. Specifically, customers who order through Huawei’s official website, official store on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop, or at the brand’s Experience Stores will receive a Huawei Smart Magnetic Keyboard, 3rd Gen M-Pencil, Huawei Mouse, Soundjoy, Huawei Backpack, and PC Level WPS.

If you make your pre-order on Shopee and Lazada, you will also get an early bird voucher. Meanwhile, shopping for the MatePad Pro 13.2″ in-store at Huawei’s Experience Stores will get you a printer worth RM249.

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ Malaysia specs and features

As its name suggests, the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ comes with a 13.2″ PaperMatte OLED display that boasts a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The panel also has a 1,000-nit peak brightness. Huawei says the MatePad 13.2″ is the thinnest and lightest MatePad ever, weighing just 580g and measuring 5.5mm thick.

Powering the tablet is Huawei’s own Kirin T92 chipset. The company also highlighted that the MatePad Pro 13.2″ comes with its advanced 3D heat dissipation system, which helps ensure that the tablet can perform at its best even under heavy multitasking.

To help make the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″ a better productivity device, you can pair it with Huawei’s Smart Magnetic Keyboard. If you plan to draw or hand write a lot on your tablet, you can also pick up Huawei’s 3rd Gen M-Pencil which features 16,384 pressure sensitivity levels.

Huawei claims its latest flagship tablet can open large files such as 1GB PPT files, 100 pages of Word files, and even load 10,000 Excel lines within a second. Speaking of Word files, the MatePad Pro 13.2″ comes packed with the WPS Office Suite.

For drawing, the MatePad Pro 13.2″ comes out of the box with the GoPaint app, which is loaded with 150 professional brushes, realistic textures canvas, and the FangTian Painting Engine 2.0.

Keeping lights on is a 10,100mAh battery that can be charged at 100W via USB-C and Huawei’s official 100W power adapter. Using the SuperCharge Turbo mode will help juice up the battery from 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes, while a full 10% can be achieved in 65 minutes.

At the front of the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2″, you get a 16MP selfie camera. As for the rear, you get a dual camera setup, inclusive of a 13MP main shooter and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. Software-wise, the tablet runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.3.
