After launching its cat-themed extendable charm late last year, Touch ‘n Go has yet again released a new product featuring a cat, this time in the form of an RFID tag. The cat featured on the limited edition RFID tag is indeed once again the much favourite orange cat, Oyen.
How, when, and where can I get the Oyen RFID tag?
The Touch ‘n Go Cat Edition RFID tag is available at an introductory price of RM35 for a limited time starting today (24th of January 2025). You can get yourself one via the official Touch ‘n Go Shopee Mall store, as well as the brand’s Service and Sales Centres, located at Nu Sentral and Bangsar South.
According to Touch ‘n Go, this new limited RFID tag is built on the success of the Transformers One Limited Edition RFID Tag, and is also its first “mid-sized” limited-edition RFID tag.
Like with other Touch ‘n Go RFID tags, you can fit the Oyen-themed tag on your vehicle’s left windscreen or left bumper using the DIY fitment guide. To comply with Road Transport Department (JPJ) guidelines, Touch ‘n Go advises to not place it on your car’s headlamp.
How to activate my new RFID tag?
Just in case this is your first time getting an RFID tag for your car, this is how you can set it up:
- Open the Touch ‘n Go eWallet app.
- Navigate to the RFID section in the main menu.
- Enter your RFID Tag details (found on the tag packaging or in your purchase confirmation email).
- Link your tag to your vehicle registration number and eWallet account.
