Xiaomi Malaysia has kicked off 2025 with its new Redmi Note 14 series. If you’re looking for the best performance and durability, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ boast greater durability with “all-star durability features”. This includes an Armor structure using high-strength aluminium composite frame, energy-absorbing foam and polymer buffering material for greater drop resistance.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro series also come with IP68-rated dust and water resistance.
Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G Malaysia Pricing
The Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ 5G are now available in Malaysia and here’s the official pricing:
- Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G 8GB + 256GB – RM1,199 (Early bird: RM1,099)
- Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G 12GB + 256GB – RM1,299
- Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G 12GB + 256GB – RM1,699
- Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G 12GB + 512GB – RM1,899
The Redmi Note 14 Pro is available in Lavender Purple, Coral Green, and Midnight Black, while the Pro+ version comes in Lavender Purple, Frost Blue, and Midnight Black. The Lavender Purple devices feature a vegan leather back, while the other colour options get a glass rear which uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
You can purchase these devices from the official Xiaomi Online stores on Lazada and Shopee. The early bird promo for the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G 8GB + 256GB is available from 11th January to 24th January 2025.
Customers who pre-order the Redmi Note 14 Pro series from 11th to 15th January 2025 will get free premium gifts worth up to RM1,537 which includes a Limited Edition BamBam Exclusive gift set while stocks last.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G Malaysia Specs and Features
The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is the range topping model of the new mid-range series. It features a 6.67″ 120Hz Crystal AMOLED display that pushes a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels. It boats peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, 1920Hz PWM dimming and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Under the hood, it runs on a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip mated with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
In the camera department, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G gets a triple-camera setup that consists of a 200MP f/1.65 main camera with OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP /f/2.4 macro shooter. Meanwhile, the front comes with a 20MP f/2.2 selfie shooter.
In terms of connectivity, it supports Dual 5G Sim, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. It also gets dual-speakers of Dolby Atmos support.
Powering the device is a 5,110mAh battery that supports 120W HyperCharge via USB-C. The 120W charger is included in the box.
Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G Malaysia Specs and Features
Taking one notch down is the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G which looks similar but with some hardware changes. Upfront, it still gets a 6.67″ 120Hz curved CrystalRes AMOLED display that pushes a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels, 3000 nits of peak brightness and 1920Hz PWM dimming. For better screen durability, it also gets Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Instead of a Qualcomm chip, the Redmi Note 14 Pro runs on a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra mated with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The rear also gets a similar triple-camera setup with a 200MP f/1.65 main camera with OIS, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter. Also retained is a 20MP selfie camera.
It also features dual-speakers with Dolby Atmos, Dual 5G SIM support, NFC, in-screen fingerprint sensor and AI Face unlock.
Keeping the lights on is a 5,110mAh battery but the fast charging rate is lower at 45W instead of 120W. The 45W charger is included in the box.
