OnePlus 13 Malaysia specs and features

The OnePlus 13 is fitted with a 66.82-inch quad HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. This panel also has a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

Powering the Malaysian market OnePlus 13 is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. To keep the chipset running efficiently, OnePlus has integrated its 2nd-gen Cryo-Velocity Cooling System which comes with its largest-ever VC chamber. This cooling system, according to OnePlus, also comes with the industry’s first-ever dual-layer supergraphite.

In the imaging department, the OnePlus 13 is equipped with a rear triple camera setup that’s been co-developed with Swedish camera maker Hasselblad. This setup features a 50MP f/1.6 main camera with a 1/1.4″ Sony LYT-808 sensor and OIS, a 50MP f/2.6 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capabilities and a 1/1.95” sensor, along with a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide camera with a 1/2.75” sensor. Handling selfies is a 32MP f/1.4 front camera. The OnePlus 13 can film videos at 4K with framerates of up to 60fps.

The OnePlus 13 is dust- and water-resistant by up to 2 meters deep and 30 minutes, thanks to its rating of IP68/69. In this day and age, almost all smartphones come with their own set of AI features and the OnePlus 13 is no different. Among the interesting AI features the phone has is Intelligent Search, an AI-powered search feature that allows you to find on-device files, notes, and so on by just using “human-like” prompts.

An example OnePlus has provided is you can search “What should I bring for my trip to Melbourne?” and Intelligent Search will dig through your notes and files and find a note you wrote before this titled “Packing list to Melbourne. Google’s Gemini AI chatbot and Circle to Search are also included with the OnePlus 13.

Allowing the phone to function is a 6,000mAh Silicon NanoStack battery, OnePlus’s first-ever lithium-silicon dual-cell battery to be shipped worldwide. This battery can handle wired charging at 100W using USB-C and wireless charging at 50W.

The OnePlus 13 runs on the brand’s latest OxygenOS 15, built atop Android 15. OnePlus says this is its lightest ever OS, taking up 20% less space than OxygenOS 14. OnePlus promises to provide its latest flagship smartphone with up to 4 years of major Android OS updates and 6 years of security patch updates.
