If you drive an EV and you got extra Maybank TreatsPoints to spare, you can now redeem ChargEV charging e-vouchers online. We are told that e-Vouchers are limited and you can redeem it now while stocks last.

How to convert TreatsPoints for ChargEV charging vouchers

To convert your TreatsPoint, visit the ChargEV e-Voucher page on the Maybank TreatsPoints portal and place your order.

The RM50 voucher is listed for RM64 (Yes.. there’s a markup) which can be exchanged fully for 32,000 points. Alternatively, you can also do partial points redemption such as 10,000 points + RM44 or 16,000 points + RM32. You will be required to login using your MAE account and perform a secureTAC verification to complete the point redemption.

The RM50 ChargEV e-Voucher is valid for a minimum period of 1-year and you can redeem it via the ChargEV app which is available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

How to redeem Charging eVoucher in ChargEV app

Once you’ve completed the transaction, the ChargEV e-Voucher is sent digitally via email and we got ours about 20 minutes after receiving the MyTreats confirmation email. You may redeem more than one voucher and each voucher code will be sent individually to your inbox.

Once you’ve received your voucher, launch the ChargEV app, tap on the MORE button at the bottom, then tap on Redeem Package. From here, you can copy and paste the voucher code and then tap continue.

Once confirmed, the credits will be reflected in your ChargEV account.

According to the T&C, the credits can be used to pay for charging sessions that amount to RM50 or less, after any membership plan discounts. While ChargEV has roaming agreements with other Charge Point Operators, take note that the credit is only for ChargEV operated chargers in Malaysia through the ChargEV app only.

For more info, you can visit the Maybank TreatsPoints page.
