Google has been offering its Pixel 9 Pro series customers with one year of free Gemini Advanced subscription. Now it seems like this offer might no longer be exclusive to Google’s own smartphones soon as Samsung could also be offering something similar for its Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to make its launch on the 22nd of January 2025.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series could get up to 1 year of free Gemini Advanced subscription
According to a report by Android Authority, the latest Google app, v15.52.37 beta, includes strings that suggest the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 series might come with a free Gemini Advanced trial subscription. Looking at the strings, the various Samsung Galaxy S25 devices might be given different tiers of Gemini Advanced subscriptions.
Based on Android Authority’s analysis, different models within the Galaxy S25 series might get different durations of free access to Gemini Advanced. For instance, the base Galaxy S25 could get three months of free Gemini Advanced subscription, while the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra might get six months and one year of free subscriptions respectively.
It’s to be noted that Samsung nor Google has made an official announcement on this deal at the time of writing. But we can expect Samsung to make an official statement regarding the deal during the launch of the Galaxy S25 series during its Galaxy Unpacked event on the 22nd of January 2025.
