If you need to top up your EV while in Putrajaya, there’s now a new DC charging location at Pulse Grande Hotel. DC Handal has deployed a 47kW charger at the hotel lobby and it has one of the cheapest DC charging rates in the country.
The EV charging location is at Precinct 1 of Putrajaya which is located on a hill in the middle of the world’s largest roundabout. Pulse Grande Hotel used to be Shangri-la Hotel before it was renamed in 2018.
For this location, DC Handal has deployed an Autel 47kW Maxicharger DC unit with two CCS2 nozzles and it’s priced at RM1.00 per kWh.
With a DC Handal charger, you can activate and pay for charging without any apps as there’s a card terminal that accepts contactless credit, debit and prepaid cards. Alternatively, you can activate the chargers via ChargEV and JomCharge apps.
As a comparison, most of DC Handal’s 47kW DC chargers like the ones deployed at Bangsar South, Gua Musang and IOI City Mall are priced at RM1.30 per kWh.
