Astro One: More content and greater flexibility, priced from RM49.99/month

Astro has officially launched Astro One, a new content offering that aims to deliver greater flexibility and access to more content for less. Users can start by picking from 3 core packs which are priced from just RM49.99 per month and have the flexibility to add-on more content and high-speed fibre broadband connectivity for the home.

According to Astro, Astro One reflects their philosophy to make streaming content easier for Malaysian families, offering affordable affordable pricing, simpler choices and more accessible content for endless entertainment. It provides a combination of international, regional and vernacular content alongside Astro’s Malaysian productions.

How much is Astro One?

The base offering is Astro One Entertainment pack priced at RM49.99/month which comes with over 95 channels and access to Astro Go app with 2 HD concurrent streams. If you want sports content, the Astro One Sports Pack which costs RM99.99/month provides over 120 channels, and access to Astro Go (2 HD concurrent streams) and BeIN Sports Connect.

Both Entertainment and Sports Pack also offer Cloud Recording of 200 hours.

For the ultimate package, Astro One Epic Pack provides access to over 150 channels and a total of 7 apps including Astro Go (with 4 concurrent users), Disney+ Hotstar, Netflix, BBC Player, iQiyi, BeIn Sports Connect and Max for RM199.99/month. Astro One Epic Pack users also offer Multi Room support and a whopping 1500 hours of Cloud Recording.

For greater flexibility especially for customers on the base Entertainment Pack, you can add-on individual video streaming apps and content to your subscription such as Netflix, Viu Premium, Zee 5, Disney+ Hotstar, iQiyi, WeTV and more.

Astro One + 500Mbps Fibre for RM139.99/month

If you need fibre broadband for your home, Astro One also allows customers to add-on 100Mbps Astro Fibre broadband for RM79/month, 500Mbps for RM90/month and 800Mbps for RM150/month. For larger homes, Mesh WiFi is also available from RM10/month per unit.

With the latest offering, new customers can sign up for Astro One Entertainment Pack with over 95 channels and 500Mbps Astro Fibre Broadband for only RM139.99/month.

The Astro TV packs and Fibre add-ons are tied to a 24 month contract. However, customers have the flexibility to terminate video streaming content subscriptions which were added as an add-on.
