Both the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro feature glass panels on their front and back, wrapped with aluminium frames. The Oppo Find X8 is offered with three colour options here in Malaysia, namely Space Black, Star Grey, and Shell Pink.
At the front of the regular Find X8 is a flat 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, featuring 2760 x 1256 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. The Find X8 is also claimed to feature the thinnest bezels on any Oppo phone, featuring symmetrical bezels measuring 1.45mm on all sides.
Powering the Find X8 series is MediaTek’s latest flagship smartphone chipset, the Dimensity 9400. This is then paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage with both models.
At the back of the Oppo Find X8 series, you get a Hasselblad-tuned camera setup, which in the case of the regular Find X8, consists of three camera units.
This includes a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 50MP f/2.6 periscope telephoto camera, as well as a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide shooter. Flip to the front and you will find a 32MP f/2.4 selfie shooter. All cameras on both the Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Pro can shoot videos at up to 4K resolution at 60fps.
Like many other smartphones today, the Oppo Find X8 series also comes with an array of AI features. This includes Oppo’s AI LinkBoost which is said to help enhance the devices’ signal strengths even when in congested environments, image enhancement tools like AI Eraser, AI Unblur, and AI Reflection Remover, as well as reading and writing tools such as AI Summary, AI Speak, AI Reply, and AI Writer.
Google’s AI features like Circle to Search and the Google Gemini app are also included with the Oppo Find X8 series.
To protect them from the elements, both models are rated with IP68 and IP69, making them resistant towards dust as well as water for up to 1.5 metres deep and 30 minutes long. These devices can also withstand jet sprays of water up to 80ºC.
On top of those things mentioned above, the Oppo Find X8 series has also received the Swiss SGS and Military Grade certification for drop resistance, along with MGJB 150.18A MIL-STD impact standards. To put it simply, these devices should be able to withstand your daily use with no issue whatsoever.
Supplying power to the Oppo Find X8 is a 5,630mAh battery, which can be charged using a USB-C cable via Oppo’s 80W SuperVooc charging technology. Wireless charging can be done at 50W, while reverse wireless charging is also supported at a rate of 10W for your accessories and whatnot.
The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro are the first devices to run on Oppo’s latest ColorOS 15, built atop Android 15.
Oppo Find X8 Pro Malaysia specs and features
So, after reading about what the regular Find X8 offers and deciding that it’s not enough to fit your needs, what are the extras you get by opting for the more premium Oppo Find X8 Pro?
Well for starters, it comes with two colour options, namely Space Grey and Pearl White. It also gets a larger 6.78-inch LTPO Full HD+ AMOLED display that sports a curved frame as well as quad-curved glass on its front and back.
This panel is also higher in resolution, putting out 2780 x 1264 pixels, and features an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Although not as thin as the regular Find X8, the bezels around the Pro model are also ultra-slim, measuring only 1.9mm.

With a larger display, the Find X8 Pro is also equipped with a larger 5,910mAh battery.
