GXBank turns one and they have revealed its latest features and initiatives for its next chapter dubbed GX 2.0. As mentioned previously, GXBank’s unlimited 1% cashback offer as part of the GX Rewards Experience Campaign will be revised effective 6th November and the digital bank has revealed more details of its latest campaign.
As announced today, GXBank Debit Card users can still enjoy unlimited instant cashback on all spending but there are some tweaks.
GXBank continues to offer 1% cashback and zero markup fees for overseas spending
For GXBank Debit Card holders travelling overseas, the digital bank continues to offer 1% cashback on all in-store overseas spending. It also continues to provide zero markups on foreign exchange rates and zero fees for overseas ATM withdrawals for its debit card.
Another new perk is that GXBank users can earn 3X GrabRewards points on overseas Grab spends.
Unfortunately, the cashback rate for local spending has been revised from 1% to 0.1%. However, GXBank Debit Cardholders can still earn 1.5x GrabRewards points on Jaya Grocer spending. Local cash withdrawals with the card are still free as GXBank continues to waive fees for MEPS ATMs. Also waived are GXBank’s annual and card issuance fees.
The new campaign runs from 6th November 2024 until 6th May 2025.
Since its launch, GXBank has acquired close to 1 million customers and 700,000 of them are debit card holders. In total, GXBank users have generated over 24 million debit card and QR transactions.
Effective 1st October 2024, GXBank has adjusted its daily interest rate to 2.00% p.a. and the interest is still credited to your GXBank account daily.
