Charge Point Operator DC Handal has a new DC charging station in Melaka and it is one of the fastest in the historical city. The new EV charging location is at Encore Melaka and it is capable of delivering up to 240kW.
DC Handal has deployed an Autel MaxiCharger DC charger unit at Encore Melaka equipped with two CCS2 nozzles. It can deliver an output of 240kW and it’s configured for dynamic power sharing.
Similar to most DC Handal EV charging sites, these chargers are priced at RM1.50 per kWh and you can activate and pay for EV charging by tapping your credit, debit and prepaid card on the provided card terminal. If you prefer to use your mobile device, the contactless payment terminal also supports Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay.
If you prefer to use charging apps, you can also activate the charger via ChargEV and JomCharge charging apps.
Encore Melaka is DC Handal’s second DC charger deployment in Melaka. The other DC charger is located at The Pines Melaka which features a Kempower DC Charger unit with two CCS2 nozzles, capable of pushing up to 100kW. The charger is also priced at RM1.50 per kWh.
