Aside from the Apple Watch Series 10, Apple’s latest true wireless earbuds, the AirPods 4 and the AirPods 4 with Active Noice Cancellation (ANC), have now been made available in Malaysia too.

If you drop your order now on Apple Malaysia’s website, it will be delivered to you as soon as the 15th of October 2024. However, like the Apple Watch Series 10, the option to pick up your new AirPods 4 from the Apple Store at The Exchange TRX hasn’t been made available yet.
Oh yeah, you can also choose to add personalised engravement to your newly purchased AirPods 4, without any extra cost.
AirPods 4 and AirPods with ANC specs and features
Essentially the successor to the 2nd and 3rd generation AirPods, both the AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 ANC now come with Apple’s latest H2 chip. The AirPods 4 also feature a new force sensor on the stem to play or pause media and mute or end calls with a quick press. 16-bit, 48kHz audio is now supported too.
Like many other Apple products, the latest AirPods 4 series is now equipped with USB-C ports on their charging cases too. Only the more expensive AirPods 4 with ANC sports Qi wireless charging support though. As its name suggests, the AirPods 4 with ANC is equipped with, well, ANC capabilities, making it the first “non-pro” AirPods to be fitted with this technology.
In terms of battery life, the AirPods 4 is claimed to be able to last up to a total of 30 hours with its charging case, which is similar to the previous-gen AirPods 3, and five hours on a single charge. With the ANC model, a single charge will enable you to listen to your audio for up to four hours, one hour less than its “regular” sibling.
