The Mix Flip, Xiaomi’s first even clamshell flip phone, has officially arrived in Malaysia. As teased by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, the Mix Flip is finally released for the global market and this appears to be one of the best flip phones right now with an edge-to-edge cover display and a dual-camera setup co-engineered with Leica.
Xiaomi Mix Flip Malaysia Pricing
The Xiaomi Mix Flip is only offered in a single variant outside of China. Here’s the official pricing in Malaysia:

Xiaomi Mix Flip Specs and Features
Although the Mix Flip is Xiaomi’s first attempt at a clamshell foldable smartphone, the device seems to tick all the right boxes. For starters, the cover gets 4.01″ 120Hz AMOLED panel which boasts a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Xiaomi wants you to make full use of the cover display as it supports over 200 apps and you can type on it with a full-size on-screen keyboard.
With an edge-to-edge wallpaper, you can customise the cover display to your heart’s content and there are several cute animated covers to choose from. When unfolded, the Mix Flip offers a tall 6.86″ 1.5K AMOLED panel which offers a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness.
As you would expect from a flagship device, the Xiaomi MIX Flip runs on top-of-the-line hardware including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. Despite being a slim device, Xiaomi has managed to fit a 3D vapour chamber with a double-layer graphite layer on the hinge to ensure improved thermal efficiency.
In the camera department, the Mix Flip features a dual-camera setup on the cover which consists of a 50MP main camera with Light Fusion 800 sensor and a secondary 50MP telephoto shooter with 2x optical zoom. If you prefer to take selfies while unfolded, there’s a 32MP in-display selfie camera.
Powering the Mix Flip is a large 4,780mAh battery which supports 67W HyperCharge charging via USB-C. The battery capacity is pretty generous for a flip phone considering the larger Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 only comes with a 4,400mAh unit. The device has stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and support for WiFi 7. Perhaps the only drawback of the Mix Flip when compared to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is the lack of dust and water resistance rating.
Overall, the Xiaomi Mix Flip weighs 192g and has a thickness of 15.99mm when folded or 7.8mm when unfolded.
