Proton e.MAS 7, the national automaker’s first production EV will embark on a nationwide tour very soon. The tour is meant to introduce the new electric SUV to the masses ahead of its official launch in December.
The Proton e.MAS 7 Tour will take place in stages starting from 5 October. Subject to changes, here’s the general plan of the tour:
- Leg 1: Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor
- Leg 2: Pahang, Terengganu, Kelantan
- Leg 3: Perak, Penang, Kedah, Perlis
- Leg 4: Klang Valley
- Leg 5: Sabah, Sarawak
Those who are eager to have a closer look at the e.MAS 7 can check out Proton e.MAS official Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for the exact dates and locations of the tour which will cover a distance of over 2,000km.
e.MAS 7 pre-tour showcase in Klang Valley
While Proton e.MAS 7 Tour will only take place next month, Proton New Energy Technology (Pro-Net) will showcase the EV at selected areas within Klang Valley next week.
You can think of it as a sort of a pre-tour outing. This is something that Pro-Net has been doing for the past few weeks as depicted by several postings on its social media channels which showed the EV making its rounds in Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, and Melaka.
For next week, Pro-Net will be showcasing the e.MAS 7 at “key locations” in Putrajaya on Wednesday, 25 September while it will be in Shah Alam on the following day. Do note that since the EV has not yet been launched and is still undergoing road testing, e.MAS 7 will still appear in its camouflaged form.
