U Mobile has joined the 10Gbps fibre broadband bandwagon with its U Biz Fibre 10Gbps plan. This comes shortly after ViewQwest launched its 10Gbps fibre offering last month.
According to the orange telco, the new 10Gbps offering is targeted at businesses that need reliable and seamless ultra-high-speed internet. The offered speed is up to 10 times the speed of standard business fibre plans.
U Mobile now offers 10Gbps Fibre Internet
At 10Gbps, U Mobile says the plan offers substantial bandwidth to support multiple high-demand applications simultaneously to ensure smooth operations without interruptions. In addition, U Mobile is offering Free Secure DNS (Secure Domain Name System) which is enabled by default to ensure a worry-free browsing experience on any device. U Mobile says the Secure DNS offers added security against cyberattacks and breaches and it is offered as a value-added feature for business owners.
U Biz Fibre Pricing
The U Biz Fibre 10Gbps is priced at RM1,899 per month and U Mobile is providing one fixed public IP address for a single server for free. If you need more fixed IPs, you can add on for an additional RM300/month (RRP: RM500/month). Unlike its lower business plans, the 10Gbps option comes with a WiFi 7 router.
According to the FAQ, the 10Gbps U Biz Fibre plan is offered with an upload speed of 5Gbps, and the internet quota is unlimited. As usual, the plan is tied to a 24-month contract.
If you’re looking for cheaper options, U Mobile is currently offering the 1Gbps plan for RM149/month (RRP: RM299/month), 500Mbps for RM99/month (RRP: RM199/month) and 100Mbps plan for RM79/month (RRP: RM129).
10Gbps U Biz Fibre availability
The 10Gbps U Biz Fibre plan is currently offered in selected coverage areas such as Berjaya Times Square and Pavilion Damansara Heights. It is listed as coming soon for Lalaport Bukit Bintang, KL Eco City and Mid Valley Megamall.
