After it was previewed at Malaysia Autoshow earlier this year, Neta and its local partner Intro Synergy have officially introduced Neta X in Malaysia. Over here, the electric SUV can be obtained into three variants including the 400 Comfort, 400 Luxury, and 500 Luxury.

When it comes to pricing, here’s how much the Neta X costs in Malaysia:
- Neta X 400 Comfort: RM119,888
- Neta X 400 Luxury: RM127,888
- Neta X 500 Luxury: RM135,888
Regardless of the variant, the Neta X can be obtained in Pearl White, Jet Black, Glacier Blue, Skye Grey, and Amber Brown. Customers can also choose to have their Neta X interior in either Brown or Black.
In terms of warranty, the Neta X is covered by a 5-year / 150,000km warranty for the vehicle. The SUV’s high-voltage parts such as the battery pack assembly, vehicle controller assembly, motor controller assembly, drive motor assembly, resolver, high voltage relay, and battery management system are covered by a separate 8-year / 180,000 km warranty.
For early bird customers, Intro Synergy offers to double the value of their booking deposit. For example, if you place RM1,000 deposit, the value will become RM2,000.
Other than that, they also can choose to obtain a free AC home charger or ChargEV charging credit with 2500kWh quota. Available until 31 July, they will also receive free maintenance for 2 years or 40,000km.
Affin Bank is also offering special financing rate of as low as 2.2% for Neta X customers. They can also get their financing application to be approved within 6 hours.
Neta X Malaysia quick specs
All Neta X variants for our market come with the same front-mounted 120kW (161hp) electric motor that also produces 210Nm of torque. According to Neta Malaysia’s official website, both variants can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 9.5 seconds and they have a top speed of 150km/h.
Similarly, they have also been equipped with the same 6.6kW onboard AC charger. The major difference between the Neta X 400 and 500 is their LFP battery capacities which also determines their range.
Specifically, the 400 is equipped with a 51.8kWh battery which allows the variant to deliver a WLTP-rated range of 323km. On the other hand, the 500 comes with a 62kWh battery that is good for a range of up to 410km.
Another factor that sets them apart is their DC charging capability. This is because the 400 Comfort and 400 Luxury variants can support up to 65kW while the 500 Luxury option goes all the way up to 100kW.
Not to forget, the Luxury models come with additional features. The list includes the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite, a memory function for the driver seat, a wireless phone charger, and a power tailgate.
Meanwhile, the Neta X also comes with a 15.6-inch full HD display for its infotainment system that also supports Apple CarPlay. For the driver, there is also an 8.9-inch digital instrument cluster.
As for the storage space, Neta X offers 508 litres of boot space which can be expanded further to 1,388 litres by lowering its rear seats. However, this electric SUV does not come with a frunk though.
Unlike the Neta V, the Neta X has Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) as part of its Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) although as noted earlier, this is limited to the 400 Luxury and 500 Luxury variants. Other ADAS features that are also included within the EV are Forward Collison Warning (FCW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), and Traffic Jam Assist (TSR).
Other than that, there is also the Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Emergency Lane Keep System (ELKS), Driver Monitoring System (DMS), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR). Regardless of the variants, Neta X has been fitted with a 360-degree camera system and six airbags as standard.
