Asus Malaysia is currently running a Payday promo where you can get extra discounts and freebies for the ROG Phone 8 series. The promo is also offered in conjunction with team Selangor Red Giants’ (SRG) recent win at MLBB MSC 2024 last week.
The ROG Phone 8 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version (RRP: RM3,999) is now offered for RM3,599. In addition, if you purchase the ROG Phone 8, ROG Phone 8 Pro or ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition, you can redeem 2,000 MLBB Diamonds worth over RM180.
Take note that this promo is offered between 25th and 28th July 2024. The 2,000 MLBB Diamonds rewards may be redeemed between 25th July and 2nd July 2024 via a Google Form.
To recap, the ROG Phone 8 comes with a 6.78″ 165Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display and it runs on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS4.0 storage. The device gets a triple camera setup at the rear with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle shooter and a 5MP macro camera. It also gets a 32MP selfie camera that sits in a punch-hole on the display. The device also gets stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack and it is also rated for IP68 dust and water resistance.
Powering the device is a 5,500mAh battery that supports 65W fast wired charging and 15W Qi wireless charging. As you would expect from a gaming-centric smartphone, it features Aura RGB lighting, AirTrigger shoulder buttons and the ability to add-on accessories such as the ROG Tessen mobile controller and AeroActive Cooler.
