If you’re looking for a big-screen TV and fast broadband for your home, U Mobile has announced a special Samsung Smart TV bundle which starts from RM65/month. As part of its limited-time promo, U Mobile is offering free 3-month instalment for the TV under its U PayLater instalment program.
According to U Mobile, the latest U Home 5G broadband bundling enables customers to have their dream Samsung Smart TV in their homes with U PayLater’s 0% interest instalment plan. Customers can also get more savings if they purchase it via U SaveMore which lets you pay for the device outright with subsidised pricing.
The bundled Samsung 4K TVs are from the Crystal UHD DU7000 lineup and U Mobile offers four sizes – 50″, 65″, 75″ and 85″. If you’re going for the 0% U PayLater instalment programme, you can choose between 24-month or 36-month instalment durations.
Here’s how much it costs for the Smart TV bundle (excluding monthly U Home 5G subscription):

- 50″ (RRP: RM2,599) – RM65/month
- 65″ (RRP: RM3,699) – RM94/month

Samsung 4K TV on 24-month U PayLater
- 50″ (RRP: RM2,599) – RM98/month
- 65″ (RRP: RM3,699) – RM141/month

With the current free 3-month instalment promo, eligible customers would only need to pay for the device instalment starting from the 4th month onward. However, take note customers are still required to pay for the monthly U Home 5G subscription.
According to their T&C, U PayLater is available to eligible existing U Mobile customers who are aged 22 years old or older. Each U Home 5G customer will only be entitled to subscribe to one U PayLater bundle.

If you’re interested, you can sign up for the bundle at the nearest U Mobile centre or any authorised dealers. According to the FAQ, delivery will take about 1 week in Peninsular Malaysia and up to 2 weeks in East Malaysia. Basic installation is free, however, extra custom installation such as wall mounting will incur additional costs payable directly to the fulfilment partners. The TVs are covered with 2 years warranty by Samsung Malaysia.
U Home 5G Broadband Plan for RM68/month
To recap, the U Home 5G plan offers a free WiFi 6 5G router on a 24-month contract and “unlimited” 5G and 4G data for RM68/month. The plan has a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) of 1,000GB (1TB) a month and the speed will be throttled to 512kbps once you’ve hit your monthly quota limit. However, users can add-on an additional 1000GB of high-speed data for just RM30 extra.
