After weeks of teasing, Honor has finally launched the new Honor 200 Pro. Positioned as their ‘aesthetic flagship’ smartphone sitting below the Magic 6 Pro, the Honor 200 Pro offers plenty of features to like, such as a flagship-lite processor, three 50MP cameras, and a rather unique design.

Honor 200 Pro specs
The Honor 200 Pro will likely at first glance pique your attention, thanks to a unique looking rear design. Available in Ocean Cyan and Moonlight White, Honor says the former was inspired by nature, mimicking the aesthetics of the coastline, while the latter is said to be reminiscent of the moon. There’s also a quirky camera bump design that is apparently inspired by Gaudi’s ‘Casa Mila’, a famous modernist building in Barcelona designed by the architect Antoni Gaudi. The entire device measures just 8.2mm thin, and weighs in at just 199g.
Flip it around though and you’ll find a quad-curved 6.78-inch OLED display pushing a 2700 x 1224p resolution for a pixel density of 437PPI. It’s also capable of a HDR peak brightness of 4,000nits, with a hyper-dynamic colour display technology for full coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The Honor 200 Pro’s display can push a 120Hz refresh rate as well, along with full screen always-on display and a ‘wet touch’ feature too.
Powering the Honor 200 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a relatively new system-on-chip built on the 4nm TSMC process node with a similar core layout to the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 albeit at slightly lower clock speeds. That gets mated to 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage, and the Honor 200 Pro will come with Android 14 out of the box, skinned with MagicOS 8.0 over it giving you AI-powered features first seen on the Magic 6 Pro.
It’s in the camera department though where the Honor 200 Pro makes big claims. Honor has kitted it out with a triple rear camera setup, with the primary 50MP, f/1.9 shooter utilising the 1/1.3″ H9000 image sensor—the same one present in the Magic 6 Pro. Huawei boasts features such as 4-in-1 pixel binning, 2-in-1 motor with 8-wire SMA actuator auto focus and optical image stabilisation. That gets flanked by a 50MP, f/2.4 telephoto shooter using the Sony IMX856 sensor offering a 2.5x optical zoom with up to 50x digital zoom. You’ll also find a 12MP, f/2.2 ultrawide here on the back, while in front you’ll find the third 50MP, f/2.1 shooter for your selfies.
Other features of note include a 5,200mAh battery with support for 100W Honor SuperCharge fast charging that Honor claims can juice up the Honor 200 Pro to 50% in just 15 minutes. It also supports 66W wireless Honor SuperCharge fast charging that can power it back up to 64% in just half an hour. You’ll find dual stereo speakers here too, along with support for Honor Histen spatial audio. The Honor 200 Pro also has an IP65 dust and water resistance rating and support for NFC, 5G, WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity.
